The Revell F/A-18F Super Hornet is a fairly inexpensive kit compared to other models of the same aircraft and different brands. As with most Revell kits, you will have seam lines in places that aren’t easy to clean up. The canopy does have a seam line as well that needs to be fixed. Attaching the rear landing gear can be difficult due to the instructions not being as clear to how the parts get attached. The gear does have stand alone tie down hooks which add nice detail.
The ejections seats are fairly basic and lack detail that other more high end kits or after market parts may have, but they will suffice if you are not to worried about the detail. The decals are decent for the Salty Dogs version, but they aren’t exact to the real subject, so they may need to be cut or used as is and one will have to accept it. The intakes are two halves and not seamless, so work will be needed to fix that joint. The gear doors are one piece and need to be carefully attached at the point of contact inside the bay doors. Ordinance is included with the kit. Over all, this kit is worth it for people getting into the hobby, or ones that want an inexpensive F-18 Two Seat Super Hornet.
